How do I place an order
Simple... By phone or by email. We require a deposit of £75.00 at the time of booking this can be paid via our website. The remaining balance will be payable 7 days before the delivery date.
What if I have special dietary requirements or allergies?
We can cater for most dietary requirements for example, vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, wheat free, halal etc but we cannot guarantee that any of our products are nut free.
Do you supply paper plates etc with my buffet?
Buffet Direct will provide disposable plates, napkins and cutlery free of charge.
What happens if something I ordered is not available
If for any reason this were to happen, we would substitute the most appropriate alternative for you.
Can I amend an order?
We are happy to amend orders for clients but amendments will only be accepted 48 hours before delivery. If it is necessary to make amendments after that time we reserve the right to charge the cost of any abortive work.
What if I need to cancel my order?
Any cancellations must be made 7 days prior to the the event, if cancelled after this time, the booking will be charged in full.
How can I pay for my buffet?
A deposit of £75.00 will secure your booking, you can pay your deposit by using our online payment facility, the remaining balance is payable 7 days prior to the event, this can be done by bank transfer.
When will platters or equipment be picked up?
We will try to uplift on the same day, as this is not always possible the driver will arrange another day which suits.
Will the buffet be set out for me?
The driver willl set out your buffet in the designated area. Please ensure you have the tables set up ready for delivery.
Will my food be hot on arrival?
All our finger food is delivered cold on returnable plastic platters.
All hot dishes will be delivered ready to be heated up in chafing dishes which will be supplied with the food. Our driver will set these up for you and advise on lighting these. You should allow about 1 hour for all hot food to reach the required temperature and choose your delivery slot to allow the appropriate time for heating up your food.
Can you supply staff to help serve my buffet etc
Please contact us to discuss your requirements for service staff. Service staff are charged at £11.50 per person per hour with a minimum charge of four hours and a minimum of two staff
